Colorado represents, for Spencer and for rescue work on ski slopes, a new point of reference in design. Its aggressive lines have been studied to improve both the aerodynamics of the tobogan and for the insertion of a vacuum mattress or spinal boards.
The tail pin is simply a masterpiece, which closes with absolute perfection the aerodynamic tract of the toboggan, thanks to the particularly evasive shape. Absolutely avant-garde the Colorado, a telescopic handle for the second rescuer and the possibility to select the required length of the main bar which is joined to the framework of stainless steel. The braking system is also a completely new system. The new framework in stainless steel, raises by 25% the torsion rigidity of the body, which was already at the top of this category. The overall weight has been reduced, the distribution of the weight has been optimized, the design has been modified to allow for the passage of air in the area of the steering wheel. The result is an extraordinary sensation of harmony between the skier and the sledge, incredible manageability and complete precision no matter what the track is like.

- adjustable footrest in preformed polyethylene

The addition of a large handle, joined to the primary framework and to a breaking system, render it both safe and stable.
Its tapered shape makes it ideal for the accommodation of all Spencer spinal boards, the SX stretchers and the vacuum mattresses, thus avoiding any distressful moving of the victim. The innovation lies in the sledge made in stainless steel and magnesium: the sledge is in an advanced position, avoiding hence annoying splashes and optimising the handling of the Tobogan.
